AGM PAPERS 2025
Dear Members,
We are, as usual, conducting our AGM electronically.
As a Registered Charity, we are legally required to prepare both a Trustees’ Report and a Treasurer’s Report and to submit both to the membership for endorsement.
The AGM 2025 documents are available for viewing by selecting the relevant link below:
- AGM 2025 Agenda
- Record of 2024 AGM
- The Trustees Report 2025
- The Treasurer Report 2025
- The Treasurer – Charity Commission Accounts year ending 30 April 2025 V2
- Programme for 2025-26
- Membership Renewal 2025-2026
- AGM 2025 Voting Papers
Please also note in the Trustees’ Report our particular our need for some occasional paid help to keep us abreast of the digital world. So, if you do know someone reliable (6th former or student) who could help, please let me know.
As you will see from the 2024 Record, last year a total of 15 out of 138 members voted. To be quorate, 10% of the membership need to vote – this was only just achieved last year. So please take a moment to complete the voting form or to email your response to me, Ann Tasker (ann.tasker@gmail.com) by Monday 8 September 2025.
Warmest Regards,
Ann

January Lecture Cancelled
“The Election Entertainment Series and the birth of political satire”

Dear All,
It is with regret that we have had to cancel the January lecture.
With the forecast showing rain tonight and 9:30 temperatures hovering around -3C it could create hazardous driving conditions.
We will be attempting to reschedule for a later date. As soon as we get more information we will publish it on the web site.
Pippa
Deputy Chair
