Important Announcement on the Changed Date of the July 2024 Lecture
TAPESTRY : THE ULTIMATE WALL DECORATION
As many of you will be aware, Stalbridge Hall is used as a Polling Station for both local and general elections. Rishi Sunak’s scheduling of the General Election for Thursday 4. July means that the Hall will not now be available to us for our July lecture.
We have considered several options for rescheduling and have decided to move the ‘July’ lecture to September.
It will be held on Thursday 5 September, with all the usual timings and arrangements.
The lecturer, Susan Kay-Williams, is available on that date and her topic remains Tapestry: The Ultimate Wall Decoration.
(Please also note that the July lecture is no longer used as the AGM, as we now handle it online.)
